'Resident Evil' very much exceeded my expectations. It's as if the Game franchise tried to make a movie in the flavor of 'Shaun of the Dead' or 'Evil Dead 2'. Fun, fresh, and went in a different but smart direction with enough subtle game nods to spark joy. Absolutely loved it, and huge recommend!
