Fact: Migrants have an average positive impact on the economy. Cutting immigration is costly. It will make it *harder* to revert austerity, create growth, and reduce inequality. Wasn’t that the government’s goal? Starmer’s new rhetoric is based on lies. Excellent explainer here :
