Hoping for Patrick Stewart. Expecting Beaker.
You suddenly get a narrator describing your life and there’s no way to turn it off - everyone can hear it. While shopping, at work, at home, with friends - the voice narrating your every move goes on. Who do you hope is the voice of this narrator?
Tag yourselves! I think I'm probably Engrossed Owl on the upper right, but the bottom two having their stone minds blown clean open by their respective books are pretty awesome.
The world needs more bookish gargoyles and grotesques
After running the AC and filters full blast for several hours, the apartment as a whole is down to 27C/81F but the bedroom is a relatively comfortable 24C/75F. I'll take the win.
No, absolutely not. We are not abbreviating someone practicing expert supervision of automated decisions, aka Human In The Loop, that way. Grow up.
standing near the doors on a crowded light rail car someone boards wearing a shirt with the logo H A C K E R S at my stop I wait until the doors are about to close, lean near their shoulder, mutter through my teeth HACK THE GIBSON and stride off without looking back at wide eyes for the lulz
