i got a curved ultrawide monitor a few years ago while it was on sale and it's completely fucked up FPSes for me. have to tilt my head a little bit and look around, can't have everything all in one place. bad for gaming. 1920x1080 is how it should be. 640x480 is how it should've always been

just tried out project zomboid. you are supposed to put your cursor onto a zombie in order to melee/shoot at it. when the zombie gets close to you, putting your cursor on it makes your character spin 180 degrees away from the zombie, and you get bitten a lot and die. this is a $25 game
