I was hoping to post this fic today for Jayce’s birthday, but life got in the way. So, here’s a snippet of some yearning from The Yearner himself. May he receive lots of love on this special day and everyday of his life.

Jayce had simply said his thoughts aloud quietly into the warm glow of his apartment on accident and Viktor simply said yes. Come the next day, they were officially engaged and Jayce knew there was no one else for him. He’d known for a long while. Maybe since Jayce saw Viktor the first time. Definitely since Viktor smiled with an actual, genuine grin that made the corners of his brightened eyes crinkle. They were only Jayce and Viktor in those moments. Jayce thought they’d stay that way forever.”
