Who is the QB that everyone in the league thinks should be better, but just can't get over the hump? The QB that frustrates the hell out of GMs and head coaches? I asked Mike Sando on Scoop City Show and he answered quickly.

Quick few notes on #broncos Zach Allen's 2024 season: - Had a career high 8.5 sacks and 15 TFLs. - 67 QB pressures - Career high 40 QB hits - Only players with 40 or more QB hits in a season since 2006: J.J. Watt, Nick Bosa, T.J. Watt, Aaron Donald, Zach Allen

A few notes from #broncos practice today: - Saw Alex Singleton leave practice with a trainer looking at his right thumb. He'll miss roughly a week I'm told and saw him in good spirits about it after practice. Concern doesn't seem too high.

Late former wide receiver Demaryius Thomas (2010-18) has been elected to the Broncos Ring of Fame and will be officially inducted into the Ring at halftime of the Broncos’ game against the Giants on Sunday, Oct. 19 during Alumni Weekend. I couldn't be happier.

Jax Ulbrich, the 21-year-old son of defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich, unintentionally came across the draft contact phone number for Shedeur Sanders off an open iPad while visiting his parent’s home and wrote the number down to later conduct a prank call.

LB Carson Schwesinger had a chance to go in the first round in the eyes of several teams. He made a ton of plays. I actually think Philly liked him a lot at the end of the first. Now goes to Cleveland at 33.

OUTSTANDING pick by the #texans. Jayden Higgins has great footwork for his size (6’4” and 214 pounds, 4.47, 39 vertical, 10’8” broad jump). Had a team tell me he's much more a Drake London comp than T-Mac. Several teams had him above the top WR that went yesterday.

Seahawks select S Nick Emmanwori with the No. 35 overall pick. This dude tested out of the world. He is a great fit for Seattle. Some believed he would go earlier than he should because of it, but goes at 35. Makes a lot of sense.

Kirk Cousins could watch the first round tonight & see the landscape & waive his no trade clause on Friday, allowing for a possible trade. But it seems more and more likely that he could be waiting to see how the draft plays out Friday night as well before making any decisions.

There isn't anyone I've talked to that doesn't think it's Will Campbell to the #patriots at 4th overall. Also New England has revealed very little with a reputation for keeping everyone in the dark. What we do know is Campbell is a Vrabel guy. A safe pick. Connects to protecting Maye.

The Jaguars have done the work on Ashton Jenty. They've certainly asked around enough. Tetairoa McMillan makes sense for them with Liam Coen just being with Mike Evans. We'll see if they make a splash, or perhaps find a way to make an even bigger one than either of those two 🤔

The fun thing about Ashton Jenty during this draft process is hearing the comps and then thinking ... that's a stretch right? And then asking teams about those comps and their responses being ... yeah that's not a stretch. He's that good.

In a draft built like this, coming off a Super Bowl victory, coupled with full trust from ownership to operate how he sees fit, and with 20 picks combined between this draft and next year ... Howie Roseman is a dangerous man right now.

I think Jaxson Dart is a prime example of how you help yourself during the draft process. He consistently competed. He was the best QB at the @seniorbowl and then threw well at the Combine, and at his Pro Day he asked what teams wanted to see him do.

hen I look at the Raiders obviously we all see Pete Carroll and his dedication to the run game. Combine that with his past investments in RBs in the draft. But also I look at the trenches and how important that is to him and John Spytek.

Just a reminder of the #Giants draft picks: 1-3, 2-34, 3-65, 3-99, 4-105, 5-154, 7-219, 7-246 They've done so much work on QBs, maybe more than anyone. They have great intel on Jaxson Dart. If they want to move into the first for a QB if they deem it necessary, they have it.

When you look at the #panthers you have to look at defense and added help on that side of the ball. I get the sense a talented DC in Ejiro Evero might be getting a bit frustrated with what he's working with. And I agree. I'd add that versatility should be highly considered when looking at prospects.

David Carr on @nflnetwork said that his brother Derek has been working with Mickey Loomis and the #Saints to figure out what's best moving forward. - Saints have been aware of the shoulder injury since the day it happened. Derek believes it happened in the game he broke his wrist.
