I was sick at home in middle school when Susan Collins made us wait until noon to find out that she was ultimately going to vote for sexual predator Brett Kavanaugh, sending him to the Supreme Court to eventually overturn Roe v. Wade. To say I'm elated right now would be a gross understandment.

Consolidation is killing our industry. The Gamergaters who make money off the rage game will have you think this is a victory. This is purely a loss. A loss of work and art and fun and expression in a space that desperately needs it. Massive fucking bummer.

For more than 30 years, BioWare has been more than a studio. It has been a home for storytellers, developers, an the players who brought our worlds to life. Baldur's Gate. Neverwinter Nights. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Dragon Age. Mass Effect. Anthem. Now, after more than three decades of shared adventures, BioWare is closing and early development on the next Mass Effect project is ending. There is nothing easy about writing those words. Our focu right now is on our incredibly talented team who put thei hearts into these games, and supporting one another through this transition. What generations of BioWare built together is something t celebrate and remember. These games became so much mor because you played them, debated your choices, fell in love with the characters, and made these worlds your own.

Would be nice if gaming influencers took this opportunity to wage war on the suits that they provide free marketing for. There won’t be anything to yap about very soon! Very shortly! No sense in having a platform connected to an industry if you’re not gonna speak about the reality of that business.

dammit. Don’t get me wrong, there are other Star Wars films (Dawn of the Jedi) that I was disappointed to see put down, but I was reeeeeeeally excited to see what Taika would do when given the reins of a Star War.
