while we're here, if we're reuploading art (eg. c*mmission, gift art) and crediting artists, please don't misuse the alt text tool as a place to put the credits. it's an accessibility tool for a reason! either credit the artist in the post, the reply, or watermarked on the image itself..!!!
Rhi@rhiannon87.bsky.social · 2y agoI just posted about this over on tumblr, and I think it'd be very useful here as well! there's a lot of people pushing for alt text on bsky, which is great! but not a lot of resources about HOW to write good alt text. this kind of thing is my job, and it's hard to learn how to do it well.
