Flathead Lake Bio Station is a research and education center of the University of Montana, located on Flathead Lake in beautiful northwest Montana.

FLBS and the entire Montana AIS early detection and prevention collaborative team were recently recognized by the Western Regional Panel on Aquatic Nuisance Species as “Best in the West” for their exceptional efforts in preventing the spread of invasive species!

Yesterday, members of our FLBS team had the pleasure of setting sail with Go Sail Flathead Lake to celebrate our new partnership! We’re grateful to build strong connections with local businesses and communities around beautiful Flathead Lake.

A tremendous thank you to the amazing teams who organized, coordinated, and hosted this year’s Flathead Lake Run in Lakeside, MT and Flathead Cherry Festival in Polson, MT this past weekend! We had a blast joining in the fun and are deeply grateful for the continued support!
