I wanted to enhance the sprawling landscape I was imagining for the piece, so I decided to create an accordion book. Everywhere you move your head reveals a little more of the world of the piece, so just like @secretbeach86.bsky.social , we get to explore a little deeper into this natural setting
For whatever reason I decided to paint all the figures before deciding the landscape, which meant I had to find ways to work in both sitting and lying down poses, and also why @nakeddancer33.bsky.social didn’t end up in the final piece, because I royally messed up the scale. (But he’ll be back 😉)
