I worked for New York’s largest medical center at the start of the pandemic. There were morgue trucks on the streets. They set up emergency medical tents in Central Park. Healthcare worker colleagues died. It is horrific that RFK Jr is on national TV lying that ICUs were empty.

After seeing the new Spidey, which I did Friday, seeing Tom Holland in "Civil War," the contrast of him being SO young in that makes it seem like it's AI.

The league has to get rid of this Dundon guy. He bought the Blazers to hold the city of Portland hostage for arena money and now he's telling all of his underlings to shittalk the city so he can move to Kansas City or something. Cut this shit out or the league will be held hostage by similar ghouls.

I mean, minor league season will be done by then. He'll have nowhere to get in live swings that aren't MLB games outside of back fields in Florida. It'd be recklessly irresponsible to bring him back and risk him hurting his wrist again for a .523 team.

Curtis Mead has a non-displaced fracture in his wrist and won’t need surgery. He’ll get re-scanned in 4 weeks to determine how he’s healing. A return this year hasn’t been ruled out, but it’s impossible to say whether it will happen until the re-scan

I realize there are much larger problems, but I just want to say, I feel bad for anyone who made this the week they vacationed on the Cape. One day of rain, no biggie. Three days of rain? That's uh, suboptimal.

Maybe the strategy is to make the game so bad that people won't miss it once the owners lock out the players this winter.

Agreed. To me, it comes down to two things: 1: Can he get them to 58+ wins? (ie at least 2 more than JB led them to last season) 2: Can he appreciably improve his FG%? His recent best is .471. Prob needs .500. If he does both, I think he'll finally have a real chance at being top 3 in MVP.
