A lot of stuff that's "popular" is actually hated by most everyone except a handful of powerful people who control the algorithms that feed you the propaganda they want and make you feel outnumbered and overwhelmed. AI is enabling this more than ever, but it's always been like this.

You know what I hate nearly as much as A/ videos on youtube? Creators (especially crafting creators) doing a "we made these A/ things in real life" video. I don't want to see the slop, I don't want to see it when you remake it in real life either.

I grew up hanging out in libraries and the idea of a world without them fills me with dread. Without libraries, authors, like readers, will only suffer.
