I'm a groomsman in a wedding this week, and it's astounding how much easier it is than being a bridesmaid. The straight boys couldn't figure out how to incorporate one (1) color into their outfit so now it's just all black. Other than that, we just gotta show up. The bar is so low for men.

Gonna keep this up for another week, and then the store will be closed for a month. Thank you to everyone who has helped spare my movers from having to carry so many boxes of books. There are still many boxes to go.

I'm winding things down at my current place as I prepare to move, so if you help me out by buying my stuff, you'll get a 40% discount on all the stuff that lives in my spare room. rosalarian.com/sale

When telling a story, the rule of thumb is "show, don't tell," and that applies to many other things as well. For example, don't TELL me about all the hot lonely queer women you know. SHOW me.

Is there any way to make the Open Dyslexic font automatically bold the first two letters? Turns out it's extremely useful for having to read long speeches with poor eyesight.

My partner has been getting back into this obscure card game from the 90s called Rage, and when cleaning out my house in preparation to move, I discovered a whole big box of them, mostly cards they didn't have. This feels magical.

I know I probably won't ever be as dexterous with my left hand as my right was in its halcyon days, but I've been using it in place of my right as possible, so lefties, what are some must-haves? I already have a left handed mouse in my cart.

Since my drawing arm will probably be a little fucked up for the rest of my life, my partner Jimmy is taking a stab at inking my pencils and this was their first test. I'm so happy with it!! Everyone tell Jimmy they did a good job!!

What sucks about all the technology being evil now is that a lot of this stuff could be really useful to my life as a disabled person, but I refuse to be forced into becoming part of the problem, so I go without. Do things the hard way, sometimes the hardest ways.

My drawing wrist clicks every time I turn it and it's gonna do that for the rest of my life unless I fix it with surgery. My wrist does this after nine months of overcompensating for an injured elbow, an injury that occurred while doing PT for my back. Anybody got a spare right arm? Or entire body?

I love doing group projects. I love that I'm too tired to work on a zine today but it's being worked on without me, which is great. I've been writer-penciler-inker-colorist-letterer all by myself for most of my career and I'm TIRED.

Been trying to watch some DC movies/TV shows, but like Marvel, the extended universe is very hard to get into if you haven't been part of it since the start. Some major heroes seem to be in the universe and others are in a different one?

Part of how I know we're going to win the Butlerian Jihad is because our side encourages creative skills while theirs is about offloading them. Human civilization needs creativity or it dies, which we may find out soon, and we will still have our skills after the rest forget how to tie their shoes.

I think one of the reasons I feel so powerful at the cheese shop is that my boss is almost a foot shorter than me. I feel like a giant at 5'8" to her 4'9.5" (and she will insist on including that half inch.)
