I was floored to receive such a generous blurb from a writer I've long admired. Mary Miller's work - stories in particular -are some of the stories that got me into writing short fiction all those years ago. ASK ME ABOUT THE MONEY is out on Nov 3. Preorders are available wherever books are sold.

Learned mine will be the last story in The Feathertale Review’s final issue. I published my first story there in 2010 and became a Writer-at-Large shortly after. Since then, it’s published a bunch of my stories, won a couple Canadian National Magazine Awards, and it’s been a helluva ride.

"So we throw out other people’s recognition. What’s left for us to prize? I think it’s this: to do (and not do) what we were designed for. That’s the goal of all trades, all arts, and what each of them aims at: that the thing they create should do what it was designed to do.” —Marcus Aurelius
