Last week, @penguinrandomhouse.bsky.social celebrated a remarkable 90-year birthday journey of storytelling. During my time at the @runnymedetrust.bsky.social we collaborated on the Lit in Colour project which has been groundbreaking in pushing for a more inclusive English literature curriculum.
Spending cuts are a political choice. The government could choose to retain the aid budget and tax the super-rich instead. Because spending on aid isn’t charity. It’s about basic rights and justice for people living in life-threatening conditions. Together, we can build a fairer, more equal world.
May Pope Francies rest in peace. A true humanitarian who stood up for social justice, peace and solidarity for all.
