Big red flag is being called a narcissist any time you stand up for yourself / stand up to abuse. Abusers are predictable hypocrites and will say or do anything to drag you down. Especially if they know how gullible you can be and vulnerable to take any criticism to heart.

the main playbook is always projection too. the longer it goes since i stepped away from it, the more i understand which things they were saying about me were just about themselves. and it's because what they do is always a result of what was done to them; it tints their focus, everywhere they look

I don't trust any of these people to believe victims when they accuse a creator they actually like.

It’s not just that people don’t believe SA victims, it’s that people don’t care even if they believe what happened to them.

One of the big findings in my research is that people invested in disbelieving victims are not swayed by evidence. Just like other issues of misinformation, they cherry pick irrelevant details to allow them to continue to believe whatever they want.

You know what pissed me off about the Ramaswamy ad beyond the obvious grotesqueries? There’s no EVIDENCE disputing Acton’s life story. There are court proceedings backing up her story. And all Ramaswamy’s got is the (accused) mother saying “nu uh” and somehow that’s enough? FOR THE REPUBLICAN PARTY
