"In other words, the people who are the most 'polarized' in the U.S. electorate are those who are racist and sexist, and those who oppose racists and sexists."
A powerpoint that is just pages of bullet points written like "Its X, not Y" and I feel my brain actively rotting

I think maybe the only thing worse than AI written code is AI written code comments/docs. I don't even know how to describe it. It's like those Recipe blogs where there's a massive and meaningless story behind why they chose Maple over Pancake Syrup, and its just... a normal waffle recipe.
The female navigation voice on Google Maps now has a vocal fry, and now I’m more certain than ever that we are in The Bad Place
Emperors new clothes moment: (plainly AI written investigation) "He gave us a lot of detail for us to dig into on this spike. He must have had a few energy drinks to get this done for us."
A strange new tell seems to have emerged with CoPilot; its preferring British English spellings for some words, and I've even seen it in code
URGENT! We just got a tip - someone saw a person carrying what looked very much like Tierney's head. The person boarded the 54 bus Southbound in Baltimore City. PLEASE boost this post! We might have any chance of recovering her if this post gets seen enough!
Clockwork Creature@clockworkcreature.bsky.social · 2mo agoHey, so our workshop got broken into over the weekend. Most of what was stolen was just replaceable stuff, but one very precious mask was taken. Tierney's head has been stolen. If anyone sees this head anywhere, let us know immediately. Hoping against hope that we can bring her home.
Me: "Hey how does is this value calculated?" 'dev': "I don't remember at the moment." (has been working on it for past 2 weeks) Me, internally: You don't remember because AI WROTE IT. FUCK.
I feel like I'm taking crazy pills... another AI PR, I added a comment poking some holes in it, and got an AI written reply that was totally incorrect in every possible way.
I spent weeks refactoring a module that was written largely with AI slop, to something much cleaner and maintainable. While I was on PTO someone went in and maimed it with AI slop, which broke something else and now there's a trail of AI slop in its wake. I'm speechless...

Lindsey Graham and Mitch McConnell are demonstrating the kind of leadership that I hope other Republican legislators follow.
