I get that a lot of people are angry, and for good reasons, but never put in any kind of power a person with anger issues. This is not leadership.

I love exploring rural areas and getting outside, but I prefer living in cities. Halifax is far more diverse than ever, and I feel like I fit in more than I did when I was younger. I definitely don't fit into suburbs.
Rebecca Solnit@rebeccasolnit.bsky.social · 2d agoNevertheless this is not an oppositional thing: I spend as much time as I can outdoors in what gets called nature, whether it's the Sierra Nevada or just Ocean Beach here in San Francisco. I like lots of things about rural life. But I believe those who say they feel safer/more welcome in cities.
