someone dressed in a flock monster costume for an action yesterday and i am simultaneously horrified and delighted.

TIL that one of the aunties i help out for community meals did time for m*rdering her daughter's abuser. learning this just makes me want to hug her harder and longer next time i see her. she's always been one of my favorites because she's incredibly selfless and so accepting of everyone.

also this has been my whole life for 3 weeks so like, i don't have much else to share. and i'm proud of my people. i'm lucky to share a table with strong individuals who aren't afraid to show their pain. it sucks that's what it takes to be heard, but i'm lucky nonetheless.
