I always loved the story of Dolly Parton sticking by her guns refusing to let anyone take her publishing rights for "I will Always Love you" - Reminding people to always trust their gut. RIP 😢 🙏
So Spiderman Brand New Day was really good. A pleasant surprise - The first MCU film that's legitimately moved me since Guardians 3. Can't beat a bit of spidey 😅
Essential viewing! Physical Media is incredibly important
Ellen Rose@icklenellierose.bsky.social · 2mo agoCheers to such positive feedback to the latest Oxtra vid. I think physical media is so important, and I hope the industry realises that before we lose it forever.

Outside Xtra@outsidextra.bsky.social · 2mo agoEllen isn't excited about an all-digital gaming future. For many reasons, including one reason we've talked about before on Oxtra multiple times... Watch here: youtu.be/lzfwfHENSx8
Someone needs to let Jordan Pickford know he isn't a midfielder....
So the social media ban for under 16's is absolutely crackers. Especially considering many of the viable social outlets for young people have been hacked away at for the last 16 years..
Had a great chat with @beyond-the-pixels.bsky.social about Astro Burn. The chat was fun, but the game is Paw-fect. 🐱🐱Definately worth checking out on steam

When I see how little people clean the equipment after a gym work out - it makes me realise how little people have learnt from the pandemic. 🙄

So finished Dispatch, and while I acknowledge the "Twilight for Men" observations; I think I'd listen to Roberts pep talks any day over mopey Bella. The actings much better in this game too @adhocstudio.com #dispatch
Did you know? 👀 You don't have to tell anyone what your New Year's resolutions are. Did you also know? You don't even need to set one! 😱 Yep, it's another tradition that YOU can choose to participate in, or put in the bin. And we're proud of you either way. 💚
Super thanks to all the amazing guests who came on our podcast this year, and mega thanks to my great friend and cohost @adrammolech.bsky.social for being an incredible inspiration and going along with (most) of my crazy ideas. Love ya Pal ❤️

Spent the evening watching this comic classic. Nice bit of pre Captain America Chris Evans, and loads of comedy actors killing it. Underrated gem 😅
Merry Christmas and happy holidays, from everyone at Safe In Our World. 💚
Just finished Resident Evil 3 (2020), quite short but a really good entry that I feel respects my time 😅. Great bit of martial arts at the end too @neilnewbon.bsky.social #capcom
Absolutely blown away by Hobs Barrow @cloakanddaggerg.bsky.social Played the first half of the game over a few weeks, but absolutely could not stop in the last act @samanthabeart.bsky.social is fabulous in this, and I love how every single Sound effect is sourced in the credits. A must play :D
