Shakespeare’s Jacobean plays are so deliciously challenging. There’s stuff in Twelfth Night I’m still getting my head around. Nuts that people flocked to playhouses to see this stuff.

Reading Twelfth Night. Lot of ships in Shakespeare get split in half. Many engineering disasters in the Renaissance. And yet they hadn't fixed the Ships Getting Split In Half problem by the time the Titanic sank. Britain is a deeply unhealthy country.

Can anyone recommend a good open-source alternative to Google Docs? I've been getting a divorce from big tech and Proton Docs isn't quite doing it for me.

So many extraordinary performances. I Claudius. Tinker Tailor and Smiley's People. Excalibur. Hamlet with Derek Jacobi. TNG. X-Men. The audiobook of The Last Battle. Hell, even Ted or Robin Hood: Men in Tights. He always gave it his all. An enormous, crushing loss.
Most people knew Patrick Stewart through his justly famous role as Jean Luc Picard, but to me he'll always be first and foremost the tyrannical Praetorian captain Aelius Sejanus from I, CLAUDIUS, a performance so effortless and natural it felt like he might reach through the TV and get you.

I'm consistently and pleasantly surprised by how much I still enjoy the first two Narnia films. Very decent family films, especially considering the rest of Disney's Aughts live-action output. Respectably intense for that sort of film.
I expect this Narnia project to be, as the kids probably don’t actually say, lit.

My worst fear is Mike Flanagan‘s The Devils. We cannot allow that to happen.
I still can’t believe Mike Flanagan turned Carrie into fucking X-Men.
