Dolly actively rejected the male gaze at a time when few women in entertainment did. Especially in the 80s, people tried to shame her for it. "You could be so pretty." It's November 1 and I've already caught myself humming, "It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas..." several times over the past couple of days.

He's talking about a cognitive test for dementia.
