okay when we are making characters darker skinned lets think about if we're *only* making the violent, angry, poor, uneducated, or sexually domineering characters darker skinned and we're keeping all the nice sweet naive characters lighter than eggwhites.

"fiction normalizes—" idk abt any of that but I think social media has normalized absolutely batshit behavior and social conventions that are inconceivable to anyone that is actually well-balanced and thriving in the real world and that's a bigger problem than fiction will ever be
