And that is the end of the Egghead Arc. What a wild and crazy ride. And with it, I am very nearly caught up. I will return to One Piece with Elbaph once Derrick and Brandon's podcast reaches this point, if only to learn how they proceed from this point on. It might not even be dubbed by then.

Good to see Robin fully recovered and now especially delighted at the thought of reuniting with her first ever friend. This really is set to be an arc for just about everybody.

The fact that Bonney's still in her child form during the Banquet hits especially pleasantly now that it's confirmed she feels safe enough to just be a kid again. Good. This child's been through enough. Let her lay down her barriers and just be a part of this found family.

When you think about it, Lilith's claim of Vegapunk being alive does make sense. Not just because she and Edison survived, not just because Shaka, Pythagorus and Atlas still exist in their consciousness, but because Vegapunk's brain is still active, too. In a roundabout way, Mission Accomplished.

I love the contrast between Lilith briefly letting out her grief and immediately deciding to go eat, and Luffy stuffing his face while also deeply depressed over the friends they lost. You're gonna get along with this crew just fine, Lilith.

Koala summarizing the message does put Koby's decision to oppose Luffy into better perspective, now that I hear it back again. I can't imagine he believes Luffy would use the power of the Ancient Weapons to terrorize the world, but he's certainly not willing to take that risk after losing Garp.

Edison survived and rebuilt his body, and thanks to their shared brain waves, he can at least still talk to Shaka, Pythagorus and Edison. Good to know Punk Records is in good hands. And those hands are steering the ship towards Weatheria. I wonder what they plan to do there.

Figarland Garling, fitting the Planet theme of the Elders (he's newly appointed), his hair and beard resemble the moon. And he's voiced by Neil Kaplan, probably the biggest name in the cast who can claim to have voiced in all of Shonen Jump's Big Three. Talk about pulling the ultimate hat trick.

And there was Edison's final sacrifice. Putting the Cloud Machine on full blast in order to send Punk Records high above the sky, far beyond the World Government's reach. Suck it, York.

No arc of One Piece is complete without an after party between the Straw Hats and the allies they saw it through to the end with. Rest easy, crew. Enjoy your feast and sail towards your next destination.

Vegapunk really was one step ahead to the very end, making all the preparations between Stella, Shaka and Pythagorus knowing full well they were going to die. Sometimes victory doesn't mean survival, but rather leaving your mark upon your death and shoving it in your enemies' faces.

I love how Stella and Shaka were quick to accuse Lilith of tampering with their settings in order to steal the Mother Flame, and promptly apologize the moment it became clear that York did it.

Man... I really do feel for Kizaru. Forced to kill his best friend and destroy everything he built, only be accused of being sloppy by Akainu. For him to finally lose his iconic cool, break down crying, and snap at Sakazuki, making him genuinely apologize... What an absolute fucking mess...

S-Snake demanding the unconscious Marines wake up and then getting distracted by Luffy shouting is still hilariously charming. It will be interesting if the Straw Hats and the Seraphim cross paths again.

Wow. The single most powerful use of Conqueror's Haki, stored for almost 1,000 years, able to knock out every enemy in the vicinity and undo the summoning of the other four Elders. Emmet the Iron Giant's final act to protect his friend's legacy. Joy Boy really was the Supreme King.

Teach: "If you (Caribou) don't exceed my expectations, then you're dead." ... I am simultaneously excited and terrified of what Caribou's gonna tell thim, because I'm worried about Shirahoshi and Momonosuke, but I want to see Luffy finally take him on for messing with his friends.

Something I just realized Nintendo will have to do if Fire Emblem Engage returns for icons in the weeks leading up to Fortune's Weave; We still need icons of the DLC characters, including the Emblem Bracelets and the Xenologue Units.

Yup. I saw this coming. Because of his health issues, Mike McFarland has officially been recast as Buggy. Taking his place is Kyle Igneczi, who played the younger version of Buggy in the Roger Flashback during Wano. I know he's gonna do the role justice in the road ahead.

Good ol' Vegapunk. Launching the search for the One Piece with his dying words the same way Whitebeard and Roger did before him. For a Government hired scientist, the guy was a true pirate.

The moment Bonney's been building up to her whole life; Where she finally takes revenge on Saturn for all the suffering he's caused her whole family by taking her freedom in hand and manifesting it in an epic punch. Fuck him up, kiddo.

Ah man, Atlas... Knocking out Lilith so she can cut off synchronization with York and so she wouldn't have to see her last remaining friend within the Satellites make the ultimate sacrifice to ensure the Straw Hats' escape. You will not be forgotten, sweet, large, violent child.

1: I'm glad Robin gets to rest and recover peacefully on the Sunny. 2: Man... to be reminded not only that Ohara's research was successfully salvaged and in safe hands and what exactly Clover and her entire home died for. One tear is not nearly enough for her to shed right now.

By the way, that must have been some powerful ink that Ohara's scholars used on those books, for them to be drenched underwater for who knows how long and still be perfectly intact.
