An enthusiast of Voices, Gaming and Animation. Concept / Item Artist for Muscle Maddie, Qrow: Wanderer of Remnant

Finished a pretty big commissioned project that will go public this Saturday. I'm gonna hold off on side projects for the rest of the week and start on this month's Patron Sketch Requests on Monday. Gonna try to reach an animation checkpoint tomorrow before moving on to the weekend's projects.

It's looking like there are enough episodes of Egghead left that I can clear it over the next three weeks by watching five episodes twice each. I'm gonna hold off today and pick back up on that marathon tomorrow. Gonna just chill and do some gaming for now.

Aw crap. The thought occurs that if Fire Emblem Three Houses and Engage get Switch 2 Editions that feature new content, the Upgrades might expand the games substantially. I have signatures on both games and plan to get more. I might have to bite that GB bullet if that ends up happening.

Anime villains are often either boring or annoying beyond some of the most famous examples from Shonen, because they're allowed to get away with so much while exuding no personality whatsoever beyond "I'm evil and possibly an incel." Yoshikage Kira, for example, was a HUGE step down from Dio.

Friends, #weebwednesday is upon us once again! You know the drill - quote-post with your weebiest hot takes, nothing racist, nothing intentionally inflammatory, have fun with it ♥

yuuki yuuna from yuuki yuuna wa yuusha de aru, a gitl with red hair and a white ribbon, weaering a white and gray schoolgirl outfit with a red bow. she is smiling and winking with her fist outstretched towards the viewer.

I wish you would actually make Polls a thing on this website, because I'm getting really tired of people only liking and not voting my posts where a vote is inferred to be made, even after I asked them nicely to do so. I don't know whether I hate feeling ignored or social media in general.

What's up, chat! Group chats are rolling out today in the new v1.124 update. This is our first feature built for communities, and there's more to come.

A group chat staffed entirely by the Bluesky team's pets, who are very excited to tell each other that group chats now exist.

It's definitely feeling like it's going to take an IP release on a much grander scale for Switch 2 for new themes on Nintendo Today to show up. Though, considering Kirby appeared randomly for a Direct and Donkey Kong months after Bananza came out, there may still be hope for Star Fox.

I have my own example of this kind of disillusionment. We're Back: A Dinsoaur Story features a lot of core childhood memories and introduced me to John Goodman. The film itself admittedly did not age well when I last decided to actually watch it. So I totally feel this.

I love that the reasoning for this was that when dudes at HB rewatched the OG series. They remembered it being so much cooler and then just decided to make it real.

Interestingly, the Three Houses theme for the 5th of the Month on Nintendo Today ends with either the male or female version of Byleth. I wonder if there's specific criteria for that, like your Nintendo Account's Three Houses save data, or if the gender alternates every month.

If I make a Print of Eshmel from Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave later in the year (separate from the Survey Winner), which version should I draw? 🙆‍♂️Male 🙆‍♀️Female (Comment your Vote, please)

A lot of people, myself included, are still banking on the possibility of a Legend of Zelda: 40th Anniversary Direct appearing later in the month. I do feel it's just as likely that will get an opening spotlight in the September Direct, so it's just a matter of waiting and seeing what happens.

I'll definitely aim to finish Splatoon Raiders by the time Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave comes out. It's definitely seeming like other games are fighting for my focus throughout August, so I don't mind making a few diversions throughout the month.

Somewhat selfishly, I kinda want to wrap up a project I've been spending the last month on and get an early start on this weekend's print, so I'll do that instead of animation today. I'll be back to that tomorrow. My brain just REALLY wants this detour today.

It makes me sad that people haven't been following the daily posts for Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave on Nintendo Today like I have. Like, am I just one of a precious few who actually cares to learn who voices who in this game? This feels like THE reason to be using the app.

The thought occurs that a certain set of animations I planned to work on next week might be distracting if they're displayed on my screen while a game is playing, so I'll save them for another time to serve a different purpose. Instead, I'll do something else, very much to fill that purpose.
