Re: the perpetual “how do people read so many books?” discourse: Average person reads 1 page per minute and if we call the average book 365 pages (it’s probably less) then you will read 1 book per year for each minute you devote to reading each day.
I get this dad's surprising freak out. Was over-anxious about putting my kid in front of screens before he was 2 (& probably made him worse off than if I just chilled out). A tricky proposition. Never thought of StarFox as a "violent" game but, alas, lasers and explosions aren't exactly hugs.
