We stand with local immigrant rights leaders demanding Oscar Bergal's release, a full independent investigation, and immediate release of the body camera footage. And we join them in urging the public not to shop at Target until they stop letting DHS use their parking lot as staging sites for ICE!

ICE shot Oscar Bergal. They could have killed the child in his car. Enough. ICE out of New York, and all our communities, now.

"Americans should not stand idly as ICE and corporate enablers are building a surveillance machine unparalleled in its power and reach," writes De-ICE organizer Peyton Fleming. "Just as Americans distrust ICE, we should not trust companies, such as Flock and Boston Dynamics, that are helping them."

We need just one more member of Congress to call for a vote on the Dream and Promise Act — 217 of them have already done so. If passed, this legislation would provide a pathway to citizenship that Dreamers have been fighting for since 2012. Demand action to protect our communities from ICE.

Pathway to Citizenship Now

ICE has shot and killed people in our streets. Dozens have died in ICE custody. These aren’t isolated events. We need solutions today and the Dream and Promise Act is a critical piece of that. Take action now

Want to vote NOW in person? Go to your county’s Board of Election hours generally 9 to 5. (Check voter registration first for any issues. Bring ID just in case.) Request an absentee ballot, complete in the office and turn in immediately. It’s quick, easy and EARLY voting. 🗳️

Be sure your candidate supports SCOTUS reform. It can’t hurt to contact electeds in local, state and national to voice your concerns about the use of these obstructive, rigged and unreliable lists. The point is voter suppression. The antidote is early voting for overwhelming turnout! 🗳️

NEW: Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson blasted the conservative majority for ignoring the harm voters will endure by allowing Trump to use a flawed system for voter purges. "The harm caused by burdening...lawful voters outweighs the nonexistent harm that the government experiences," she wrote.

A recent survey found that 92% of U.S. adults have delayed or avoided medical care due to high costs. Meanwhile, a new study from Yale estimates that Medicare for All would save over 114,000 lives and $1 trillion a year. If this country was truly “pro-life,” we would have universal healthcare.
