We’re organizing against this fascist regime the only way that actually works — with on-the-ground, volunteer-led, communities of people power: https://linktr.ee/indivisibleteam

“What about due process,” is such a tell with these guys. Their party goes about systemically denying due process rights to anyone they deem too powerless to tell them “no,” and then insist that no one can ever come to a conclusion about their own actions that hasn’t been adjudicated by a jury.

MAX MILLER: She's 2.5 years old. She doesn't have the ability to articulate what you just said. TAPPER: But you just told me that she said she was scared to go to mommy's house. Now you're saying she's not capable of saying "Daddy kill you"? MILLER: What about due process?

El-Sayed: "My commitment to Jewish safety is the same commitment that I have to the safety of my own daughters. Because if there is one question of political philosophy that ought to animate us all, it's what would we do if we treated all our kids like they were all of our kids?"

A gracious concession: “I want to congratulate Abdul El-Sayed on winning the Democratic nomination for U.S. Senate. He is a doctor, a community health official, a Rhodes Scholar, and a dedicated Michigander. I am proud to offer my support as he takes on Mike Rogers in the general election…

Last night, we celebrated an unprecedented win for people-first politics in Michigan. But today, I want to make one thing very clear: THE JOB’S NOT FINISHED. The mission is to beat Tom Barrett and send an unbought, independent-minded representative of mid-Michigan to Congress.

If you’re in Minnesota, check out our GOTV tool that is the most effective form of voter motivation available to you this election cycle. It’s as easy as chatting with neighbors who already agree with you, but may need a little nudge to actually follow through and vote.

Michigan just proved something the political establishment doesn’t want to admit: When we organize, we WIN! Now, let’s make it happen again on Tuesday, August 11. Join @indivisible.org’s phonebank for @peggyflanagan.bsky.social on Monday and help us keep up the momentum.

1. the whole "disappointing night" thing is pure cope. El-Sayed beat the establishment candidate despite being outspent 10:1, that's an earthquake 2. primary polls are just not great and everyone needs to spend the next week going really, really hard for Peggy Flanagan

El-Sayed: We live in an era where we continue to see a few very small people try to define America as being as small as they are. We can't control the past 250 years. What we can do is build the next 250

🚨 @abdulelsayed.bsky.social just secured a game-changing win! Despite the status quo Democratic establishment lining up behind his opponent and special interests flooding millions into this race, Abdul's people-powered campaign won. Being a real Democratic fighter is good policy and good politics!

I couldn’t be prouder of the movement we’ve built in mid-Michigan. Thank you, Ambassador Bridget Brink and Matt Maasdam, for your years of public service and all your hard work on the campaign trail. While tonight we celebrate, there’s still much more work ahead.

Congratulations to @wewill2026.bsky.social on a massive win for working families in MI-07! Corporate PACs, special interests, and establishment Democrats eager to preserve the status quo tried to stop his people-powered campaign — and they failed. Voters are embracing a new generation of leadership!

NEW: Voters have rejected Republicans' scheme to unseat the Kansas Supreme Court's Dem-appointed majority and overturn abortion rights. Amendment 1 would have let the GOP replace the system of a nominating commission, gubernatorial appointment, and retention elections with direct partisan elections

Before leaving for August recess on Friday, the Senate could vote on a bill that would turbocharge Trump’s corruption. Senate Democrats can stop the CLARITY Act if they work together, but that’s not going to happen unless our senators hear from us. 👇

Stop Trump’s Crypto Corruption - No to CLARITY Act

The Senate will be considering the CLARITY ACT, a Trojan horse for deregulation that would only help Trump, billionaires, and foreign governments profit at our expense. We need senators to block them.
