Changing the screen protector on my phone is as stressful as performing brain surgery.
I had a livejournal once, I used it like a secret diary. It was public but obviously nobody ever read it, it was just comforting thinking someone might. Nothing has changed, after all. I'm glad livejournal is dead, because there was some really weird shit there. I wouldn't want to re-read it myself.
Of course I knew being a furry from the dawn of the internet didn't give me any special status, or wisdom, or respect, or any other fictional quality. I feel I should do more, but I really shouldn't. I try to help people, but I don't know how. I'm just an ordinary, inappropriate old guy.
I should shut these down. I don't post nearly anything as it is and the only reason to keep these account active is to lurk for pictures, since artists seem to like using these (frankly inadequate) platforms as archive.
I fail to see the point of this, or any social media platform. I'm content by myself, with my solitary hobbies and pursuits. I don't understand people around me and I'm not nearly as clever or funny, or beneficial, or welcome as I convinced myself to be.
My bog is struggling a bit in this heat, but I supply it with ample water. It produced countless vft seeds, ready to harvest.
My melocactus greeted me with the tiniest of flowers. Melocacti are not the easiest, they dislike being dry and most of all hate the cold. They grow this fuzzy "cephalium" on top, which hosts their little flowers and fruits and looks like a birthday cake.
The bog is in bloom. I'm going to have so many random vft seeds! In cultivation, flower stalks are usually cut as soon as they emerge, but this is wild, so no cutting!
This month is proving to be financially ruinous. Luckily I have savings aside for a rainy day, which is now.
This is my little bog experiment. It simulates a wetland where carnivorous plants thrive. I find it looks amazing, the downside is that it really consumes a lot of water.
Warlocks got drama about dark magic item? No problem, they got fix for it. Yes I noticed it's purple are every my alts and thier wrathguards, lmao.
This is a sarracenia moorei hybrid "Leah Wilkerson". Its traps are over 70cm tall.
This is a sarracenia leucophylla. They make white or pink streaked traps and look their best in autumn. I almost got rid of it last year, since it produced no decent traps all 2025. I'm glad I didn't!

My sarracenias are starting to look good. Letting them flower takes away some of the energy they could use for traps, but it makes for a beautiful, albeit short lived display.
