We are thrilled and grateful that our project is funded by #ERCStG via @erc.europa.eu . This will allow us to uncover how the widespread jumbophage killer sensor recognizes the invasion of phiKZ-like jumbophages, which form fascinating vesicle & nucleus compartments during infection.

My second postdoc paper with @jbdsf.bsky.social is now out in Cell! We developed a phage TnSeq method, applied it to ΦKZ, and created a CRISPR-independent phage TnSeq method.
