I'm watching the Wisconsin GOP convention in the Wisconsin Dells online today (because they denied my press credential) where U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson just accused the Democratic party of training Renee Good and Alex Pretti to turn them "into martyrs."

In the Twin Cities, churches have become lifelines for their immigrant congregants. As immigrant families hide at home, their pastors and fellow church-goers bring them groceries and gather money to pay their rent. I wrote about it:

Rep. William Penterman told the Examiner the UW MIA bill wasn't ready for "primetime" bc of GOP lawmakers' concerns about a partial veto. According to Evers' spokesperson, Evers had already committed ahead of today's meeting to not use his partial veto power on it as long as it didn't change.
