we feel bad that the only thing that gets us to read reliably is the convenience of an e-reader (holding a book open to read is annoying and we don't wanna do the spine-breaking folding it in half). but it rly does change the game and make it that little bit more accessible for us to do it on ze reg

using our kindle instead of our phone when out and about and we're remembering how calming reading is. it's downright therapeutic esp with a set of ANC headphones to be in your own little world. we don't mind having to wait as much at a doc office or airport with it, just feels like free read time

giving our kobolds stims and watching 'em vibrate before immediately passing out and snoozing
