Personally, I think there’s a very big difference between “We’re taking these elements and characters from another game and working them into the lore of FFXIV” and “We’re having characters and elements come directly from a different game as things from ‘another world’”

idk if any other designer/creative out there is facing really ridiculous requests of stuff like "why can't this website be built in 3 days with proper graphics/copywriting" or having hyper unrealistic deadline expectations bc of AI. ad agency days trained me but tbh I'm short of losing my mind.

One of the nicest things about having been online for long time is being able to see artists I’ve followed for ages, still making art and having that love and spark for what they do.

I also think its reasonable to be a little bummed that two collabs are taking up a space of what could otherwise be an original story no one really gets mad at the monster hunter stuff cuz that's an addition rather than a replacement
