One thing these shows understand really well is that a pathetic person is often a whole lot scarier than a cool or menacing one. Most of the world's issues aren't caused by badass evil super soldiers -- they're caused by feelble-minded, insecure LOSERS.
And on top of all that, the VERY first thing he says to Cherri and Husk as he’s coming to is “Don’t fuckin touch me.” My breathing ceased and my heart snapped. This scene was too well done.

The way the show has managed to make Vox the bigger asshole than Val (at least out of what we’ve seen on screen) only makes me like this show more. The amount of violation that someone literally making you do things against your will with NO recollection is portrayed so viscerally.
