ManACE is pleased to announce that we are hosting an MTS PD Day event on October 23, 2026, at St. Paul's High School in Winnipeg! Our sessions will bring together educators as they engage in learning aligned with our mission to promote the use of instructional technology at all levels of education.

I appreciated the chance to report about how the Seed grant has been building computer science competency and innovation in Manitoba!

Yesterday, ManACE hosted the 2026 Annual General Meeting for members. Held as a hybrid event, we were joined by members in-person and online. The event began with fantastic presentations from 2025 #SeedGrant recipients Cody Creed and George Pearce before settling into the business of the meeting.

Our fifth recipient of a 2026 ManACE #SeedGrant is Lindsay Stewart from Pembina Trails School Division. Lindsay is receiving a grant for their project "Voices of the Land: Podcasting for Environmental Stewardship". Congratulations! #SeedGrants 🎉 🥳 👏🏽

Our fourth recipient of a 2026 ManACE #SeedGrant is Sergii Obraztsov from Immaculate Heart of Mary School. Sergii is receiving a grant for their project "Planting a Seed for a 3D Printer in Grade 4". Congratulations! #SeedGrants 🎉 🥳 👏🏽

Our third recipient of a 2026 ManACE #SeedGrant is Allison Greig from the Southwest Horizons School Division. Allison is receiving a grant for their project "From Idea to Impact: A Design Thinking & AI Innovation Lab". Congratulations! #SeedGrants 🎉 🥳 👏🏽
