I’ve been scripting video recordings lately and I was courting a teleprompter app (almost paid the fee after trial expiry). Then I asked chatGPT to make an html teleprompter tool that bases speed on mouse position. it works so much better than the app.

I am nearing completion of a 3D online version of scratch made with Unity game engine. Just a minimal viable product at this point. I Just rampaged a city with a flying animated whale. Can’t wait to share this one.

3D printer blender repair! These showcase headphones tend to snap at the metal connector. I figured out how to model the shape to fit the system and it only took 5 prints to get the sizing.

Arduino code for Unihiker K10 is really great. I got stuck using mind + for K10, which is PC only. I almost bought a PC after all my efforts to port it through crossover failed but then I dove into Arduino IDE with Unihiker board library and it is easy.

I have a strange use case for AI. Lately when I come across something intriguing like a cool fact or a story fragment, I send it to AI and try to riff on it to explore the idea that excited me. It gives me a richer frame of reference for myself and society as reflected by that idea.

Just tried out Rosebud AI. This gold finding game is the result of a 2 sentence prompt. Single shot. Rosebud created all the sprites and the game mechanics and debugged as it built.

I am learning the hard way about Asymmetric risk with AI guided work. AI communicates as if work will be easy and within your skill set but if AI is wrong, the person who is overcommitted is you. AI takes no risk telling you something is a great idea.

Some days, it all adds up and what you’ve got is not enough.

I want to use this app to build my education PLN. I also want a place to share my thoughts on AI. I also want a place to vent about American politics. (doesn’t log in or post for 3 months, ignores feed).

Maybe I’ll check in here once or twice over summer if I want some MySpace vibes.
