Opened for touring headline band last night. Headliners refused to share any backline, managed to be rude to three different members of my band in separate incidents, the promoter move are slot from 8.30 to 7.15 (an hour BEFORE advertised doors), and only told us when we arrived at 6. Great night.

After having my hours cut fairly dramatically 6 days before term started, it was objectively funny to walk past a department head yesterday, in a small empty room, and have him stare awkwardly at the floor rather than meet my eye or say hello as we passed each other. How do these people exist?

Fucking institutions. 6 days b4 teaching starts, and I'm informed - and only because I reached out to ask - that I'm not needed for a significant portion of my normal hours (despite been told everything would 'roll over' from last year). Fine - needs change. But to give six days notice? DO BETTER.
