I write the Lawrence Miller Ghost Stories series and am employed by some cats.
Paranor-Macon was great. Haunted people are the best. I sold four and a half boxes of books including every copy of Echoes of Austin which is a weird feeling.
“Hey! You look like you can read!” is a surprisingly effective way to get someone to stop at my table and hear about my books.
For some reason I gave a 45 minute talk to kick off Paranor-Macon today and it went okay. No one hit me with fruit and the convention center had fruit for sale.
I have five boxes filled with multiple copies of five books to drag to Macon, Georgia for www.paranor-macon.com . I also have associated shirts. These things will be available for sale and I’m willing to discuss either of them or ghosts at no charge.
Book 6 in the Lawrence Miller Ghost Stories series will be out in early 2027 so you've got plenty of time to read Book 5 which is Mourning Pipes of Ireland and that is officially available today!

Next Friday I’ll be talking ghost stories in Georgia!
I got my copy of @scottsigler.bsky.social ‘s Beasts Beyond the River and I may pause everything else to read it. Earthcore kept me sane through some terrible commutes. It became a lot safer once I wasn’t driving.
93 books for only $69?? That's a fantastic deal! Grab your copy and get my short story Halloween Night, a Shadows Are No Place For Love side story 🎃🍕🧪

I just finished chapter 29 of my current work in progress and it only took three glasses of whiskey. I hope someone invents a better way of measuring time in the future.
The fifth book in the Lawrence Miller Ghost Stories series is out one week from today with an event the following weekend. Good luck getting me to not talk about that a lot in the next couple of weeks.
