A legal permanent resident researching cures for Lyme disease has been detained by immigration officials for over a week. He has reportedly been denied access to an attorney and his family has not been given a reason for his detention. We cannot become immune to this cruelty.

Alleged murderer Vance Boelter shot and killed Melissa and Mark Hortman. He also allegedly shot the family dog, Gilbert. The Hortman children upon being told their parents were dead were told it was highly unlikely Gilbert would survive his injuries. The Hortman children had to euthanize their dog.
