"Come on, man, let's just develop one more artistic discipline. What can possibly go wrong?" - his inner voice says, as the skies over the distant horizon begin to brighten up and Main Theme by Rik Schaffer fades out. Three more weeks and I'll get there.

A blurry approximation of Mikhail's stat black if he was a V20 character with the focus on new line Shaders/Real Time Rendering, as if that's what he is trying to reliably add to his gamedev disciplinary arsenal.

While the visual joke is a bit crude, it provides interesting insights in what he sees as his skills are at the age of 36.

As an Eastern-European household, we usually don't spend a lot of time in third spaces and prefer to have guests. This means we are more comfortable with an unexpected garden sleepover party in a medieval tent, than meeting up for a pint Our glorious new tent by my old pal INSTAGRAM: andrey_yumanow

I see this ad everywhere now. For me this title says Srdse Dogs Dp yoric nesh musisdl I respect the effort of an international team of scientists and heroism of Belka and Strelka, yet I find UK graphic designers using Cyrillcs as decoration in 2026 fucking miserable. Nick, Van and Will - do better!

Today I'm at the Develop Conference, talking VR development, professional training in Utilities and how Skewb Climate helps the industry to evolve. If you would like to learn more about us, or talk about CRPGs from the 90s for too long - drop me a DM or tap on my shoulder at the Double Tree!

I really enjoyed Tabletop Unconference this Saturday. Comfortable format, live discussions of vital topics, glorious people. You can't appreciate an event like this more, if you're seeing half of this space once a year for 5 minutes at the con. Sarah, thank you for creating a room where it happens.

Thanks to everyone who came along to today's Tabletop Unconference! I'll try to do a little write-up of how it went from my perspective in the next few days, once I've requested/received feedback, but I hope people enjoyed the event. I'll likely run it again – perhaps even later this year?

A photo of a group of people gathered around a picnic bench and talking on a paved area. Behind them is a garden, and beyond that a block of 1930s flats.

So on my way to Warwick a random guy peered in my empty train car and seeing me wearing tweed and writing my audio drama script on a laptop asked me: "Is this a First Class carriage, mate?". It was not, but, I am happy to bring some class on the road with me.

Thanks, Kat! I've spent 11 months last year designing, illustrating, testing & rebuilding a Solo-RPG game book I've written in my third language. I've gained weight and lost sleep, but I am happy to spit in the face every GenAI fucker that spreads pity nonsensical gospel of this vile corrupted tech

Posted this over on Instagram, thought I’d post it here too. I hope UKGE see this and hear us.

It’s undeniable I had a great time, but I’m including this last graphic, and imploring UKGE to take the discontent around AI ‘creators’ more seriously.

As an attendee AND an exhibitor, I am SO disappointed that there is still no official stance or implemented anti-AI policy when other cons, big and small, have them. I still found exhibitors that used AI in their products, and that stand space could have gone to genuine creators that enrich this community with their creativity.

I hope that the existence of two panels discussing the topic of how damaging AI can be (which notably were on at the same time...), and the popular ‘Human Made’ signs that so many exhibits displayed proudly are noted as a sign of just how many people do NOT want AI at this con.

Con-goers asked us about our stance on AI before purchasing.

Listen to your traders.
Listen to your attendees.

This matters.

PSA for folks with corporate laptops: If hypothetically you recently attempted to purchase an entry ticket to the Ninja Sex Party performance, there is a chance you not only have the URL ninjasexparty.com/tour blocked, but also you had triggered the corporate infosec alert as well. Hypothetically.

Folks, you might already know, but @critawards.bsky.social submissions are open now! You've told me before I should showcase my work more and not only on cons, so I thought I should submit Escape from the Tower of Dusk. This will be my first TTRPG application for anything, so fingers crossed.
