If you can't walk or bike to a playground, then you are starting a child's day by limiting their freedom. These spaces should be the sources of childhood independence, which is instantly erased when every trip requires a back seat and a seatbelt.

Irish Cycling Campaign seeks candidates for its membership development officer

Irish Cycling Campaign, via An Taisce, is seeking to employ a membership development officer. The closing date for receipt of applications is 23:59 on Friday, August 21, 2026. Irish Cycling Campaign, an umbrella group of most of the larger cycling campaigns in Ireland, and An Taisce, an environmental charity, are two independent charities that say they work closely together. The reason for An Taisce's involvement in this role is that the cycling campaign uses it for its human resources structures.
