We've lost a moral giant who embodied humility. President Jimmy Carter was a visionary leader and a singularly good person, and his remarkable lifetime of service—from Plains, Georgia to the White House and beyond—exemplified the best of what America could be.

If memory is not in the head and implicit memory is not amenable to verbal explication and our lived past is enacted then memory is more than a category of cognition it becomes a superordinate capacity for orienting the lived body to its horizons of I cans.
