Believe it or not, but in my description, Pokémon Go caused the Frogman to be sighted again. Apparently two people who were playing Pokémon Go back in 2016, claimed to have spotted a Frogman on camera. So while hunting for Pokémon they possibly came across a real one

DESCRIPTION: The city of Loveland, in the state of Ohio has had strange sightings of an odd Cryptid, known as the ‘Loveland Frogman’. The Frogmen are described as 3 to 4 ft tall bipedal creatures that resemble frogs, with webbed hands and feet, and sometimes scales going down their backs. Witnesses who claimed to have seen the Frogmen range differently, with one incident of an officer seeing one on the road, before climbing a guardrail and jumping into the lake. One incident involved a driver seeing a group of Frogmen and one holding a ‘magic wand’ and casting a spark. However many claim the Frogmen to be a hoax, and some say they’re misidentified as an escaped Iguana without its tail. But in recent times some say they have spotted one, during the rise of the game ‘Pokémon Go’.
