man this was just a tremendous read. Buddy Garrity is a character I thought I was gonna hate in the first few episodes and he ends up having one of the most fascinating character arcs not just on FNL, but probably of any character in a drama in general, and this is a great tribute

Impossible to overstate how important Dolly Parton was/is to American music. Had so many hits she couldn’t remember if she wrote “Jolene” and “I Will Always Love You” on the same day or the same week. The literacy project alone would make her a cultural titan. She should be on American currency.
