They don't care if more than half their user-base hates this. For them, the infinite information harvesting is worth the temporary backlash. In time people will put up with it because the only other viable option is YouTube which also uses AI to harvest information on everything everyone is doing.

One of my biggest gaming pet peeves is menus that don't let you navigate them until they finish their animations / screen transitions. Then you end up picking the wrong option because you're trying to go through them faster than they allow you to.
