The modern version, I'm working on. Like the elevator pitch would be: The Spartan Program from the retrospective of casual history following an account that's too old to be properly debunked or at some point was verified to be true, with only mundane academic relevance. "Is it true?" "Yeah"?
The Count of S 🇧🇲🖼️✍️@thecountofs.bsky.social · 2d agoI've always argued online that the original Spartan programs are captivating because it's clinical and vaguely justified. the aura of a shonen manga and the detached, nearly pathological lucidity of historical military planning. Readers would be seeing this from an authentic, but incomplete lens
I made a montage to explain Nate's backstory, after test readers kept asking about "the ninja Spartan". So I made the backstory montage longer to give Angie more screen time, Susumu Hirasawa's track played and the pitch morphed into: "What if a Halo Spartan biopic was a horror fantasy?"

Ma première pensée : "Que vient faire Susumu Hirasawa ici ?"

I'm fairly certain 'Berserk Forces' is a subtitle here, I'm not sure if that was the joke
There was a fucking hole in our planet’s *atmosphere* Like a legit, no joke, “this will unravel our entire ecosystem” hole in the world, and then we fixed it by working together across national and political lines As a species we decided, “we will survive” Let’s do that some more
