Thom Tillis’s vote on Hegseth will come back to haunt him. He supports a FOX newsman to be defense secretary who is unqualified and faces numerous allegations of drunkenness and abuse. Hegseth is a disgrace to those in the military. He is a threat to our country’s security. FOX won. The U.S. lost.
Despicable. Riggs won. Griffin lost. A Trump appointed federal judge plays into the hands of the GOP and sends it back to the hyper politically partisan NC Supreme Court. This isn’t a state sovereignty issue, it’s basic voter rights issue which will now be assuredly be denied.

My Legislative Assistant just discovered her name is one of Jefferson Griffin’s challenged voters. No surprise with the last name “Chiarenza”. I vouch for her and her vote. It wasn’t for Griffin. Time to concede. Riggs won.

This week the NC GOP supermajority ignored the urgent needs of Hurricane Helene victims and prioritized a bill to cement their autocracy. They stripped the Gov and AG of essential powers while grabbing power to appoint partisan judges to control the courts. We must protect our balance of powers.
