I got really excited at the Ba’ul ref. One of the unique joys of a TOS story written post/during DSC. This author always does an excellent job of knitting all the pieces together

This is a good one where those who wish evil or to control an individual suffer mistrust from those that put their trust into. Once you show your true colors then it is difficult to trust. I think Avomora will be a wise and loving leader. #TrekBookClub #StarTrekAContestOfPrinciples

It would have been an interesting dilemma if Ceff won, then Kirk found out the Federation — or the ambassador — DID rig the election because they wanted to help this society move toward shared prosperity. Maybe a Badmiral was behind the rigging. What would Kirk do then? #TrekBookClub
