Are there more books I can read that are, very specifically, like these two
Freaking driving me crazy that MTG sets are all IP slop for company crossovers now. Playing a card game I enjoyed feels like an ad
Not to be old, but I kind of miss the friction in listening to and collecting music, how each album felt precious because of the investment in buying, torrenting, or getting a friend to burn you a mix CD.
"and in the end you shall outlive them" risograph, 2nd edition reprint in sunflower, light teal, burgundy red, black
After watching Hasan for almost 6 years, it's very strange and a little sad to see his pivot towards the establishment this year. Charitably, I think what he's trying to do is change the democratic party into a socialist party. But I'm not sure that's possible.
Interesting to read this and think about how the concept of mass imprisonment is a relatively modern cruelty we inflict on people, one that historians retroactively tried to ascribe to medieval cultures.

Something I think is useful to remember is that you don't have to do art for a living in order to be interested in art and pursue it as a personal hobby. I have never been employed full time as an artist and in some ways I feel like that produces a kind of healthier enthusiasm towards creativity
Thanks for all of the really wonderful art fight pieces I received from talented illustrators this year! It’s been my honor to draw your characters, too 🥰
What are your favorite dragon designs in historical design or media?
Dragon/bug pokemon concept (copyright do not steal): 3 jumping bean (larva) inside of a dragon dancing costume 🐛🐛🐛
Delighted by Burmese fermented tea leaf salad right now. I had never known you could eat tea (other than matcha, but you know, more like as a savory food not a drink), and I had some of this dish today and found it fantastic. Gotta make some… big fermentation fan here
Nanjing Paleontological Museum has an in-house traditional Chinese artist, Li Chen, creating paintings of famous Chinese dinosaurs. These are from 2022 exhibition "From Dragon to Bird" and can be purchased in the museum as postcards or book《从龙到鸟系列 科学艺术化石复原图》
why's everything all about emailing me or texting me a "one time code." just let me use my password man.
A sentient fungal colony that inhabits a dog, artfight revenge piece for Aresnergal
I feel like the vibes are off for artfight this year. It felt more communal and joyful in the past, I don’t know if social media just kind of warps people’s abilities to engage and have fun
"BANG" — ArtFight 2026 for @rentgraham.bsky.social Probably the piece I'm happiest with this year. God, I had so much fun with this one. Everything about it was a joy from start to finish. Really proud of it.
