We had a wonderful town hall yesterday evening at Joybound People & Pets where we talked about our efforts at the federal and local level to protect animals. Thanks to Susan Lee Vick for joining as a special guest from Joybound and to all the animal lovers who joined.

As a leader in the fight against climate change both in my time in local government and now on Capitol Hill, I was excited to visit the Phillips 66 Renewable Energy Complex to discuss easing the inevitable transition away from fossil fuels and to see their renewable fuel operation.

Calling all East County residents! I am hosting an in-person town hall on Tuesday, August 11th from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. in Antioch to keep you updated on my work in Congress on behalf of CA-10 residents, including efforts to lower healthcare costs and hold ICE accountable. (1/2)

This afternoon I hosted mobile district office hours at the Lafayette Library where I met with constituents and local organizations to discuss the federal issues most important to them. If you’d like to sit down with me and share your thoughts on a federal topic, reach out to my team!

In addition to providing critical care for our community, the healthcare sector is also one of the largest employers in CA-10. I met with the John Muir Health team this week about the state of the industry and how the federal government can better support healthcare providers.
